***P, or tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate, is an organophosphorus flame retardant halogen compound. It has high hydrolytic stability, is not soluble in water, and can be dissolved in ethanol, acetone, esters, aromatics, chloroform, and other organic solvents.
***P is very resistant to ultraviolet light. As a flame retardant, it is widely used in flexible and rigid polyurethane foam, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl acetate, phenolic resins, epoxy resins, and other materials. ***P can be directly used as or made into emulsions, for carpets, raincoats, fabric finishing, and rubber, etc.. It can also be used as a fire retardant paint additive. |
